German Dunkelweiss, very similar to a German Hefeweizen except it has ruby color.

Having this beer on-tap the brewery, this beer draws a A clear, dark amber color with an off-white fluffy head that is initially well over an inch thick when poured. Settles to a good solid 1/2 inch of foam sitting on top of the glass that eventually setles to 1/4 inch. Pretty good lacing. Fairly potent aromas of bready malts, a bit of banana, and clove are all certainly present. The taste pretty much follows suit to what the aromas are, sweet bready malt with hints of caramel, followed by banana and spicy clove along with a hint of toffee and chocolate on the back end of the tongue. Also a bit of an earthy hop presence to round it all out. They really nailed the flavor profile for what a beer of this style should be. Has a nice crisp, smooth, light to medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. All of the flavors linger nicely on my palate in the aftertaste. Easy to drink in the way a beer like this should be. Excellent!
