500ml swingtop bottle. Poured out a dark, dark brown color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Very sweet and malt with chocolate and subtle coffee notes.

Flip top bottle. Filtered. Almost black with a thin, tight, creamy head.
A rich malty smell of burnt toast with Marmite spread. Some sweetness seems present with hints of chocolate.
A dark chocolate bitterness prevails upon tasting mixed with autumn berries.
Moderate body with a light carbonation.
An EDL of the first order.

Dark mahoghany brown, bright clarity in the light. A finger of foam, loose surface bubbles.
Smells like old coffee and chocolate syrup. Tastes like sweet chocolate syrup and light roast malt. Oddly artificial residual sweetness. Carbonation fades away quickly. Overall it’s kind of halfhearted and could use a lot of improvement.
