Clear and medium gold-colored - brief finger of tannish foam... Bottle calls it a honey lager, made with pilsner barley malt, Magnum and Hallertau Tradition hops, and honey... It's pretty cool - I've had a few meads but only a couple of braggots, so I know enough to have some idea of what to expect - this has honey all over it, sweet, with no bitterness to speak of - floral and herbal notes on the nose; a slightly sticky feel on the palate... Good enough, but understandably won't be to everyone's liking... I hope I classified it correctly as a braggot - "honey lager" isn't a thing, but this beer is clearly a hybrid of a beer and a mead...
