Has a beautiful hazy caramel color with a nice white head that dissipates quickly into a small cap over the beer. The smell has notes of a slightly spicy caramel with dates at the front, and a slightly floral/spicy/grassy hop smell. The taste is a classic European lager but a little more caramelly-it’s really good. The malt has a nice body to it without being overly sweet and has just a slightly thick mouthfeel. The hops provide a classic European beer experience that balances the beer well. It’s really good for the price and is a nice stepping stone for your friends that aren’t huge into beers.

Pours clear, pale amber in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is toasted malt, mineral and white bread. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, slightly sweet. Above average marzen but not quite good.

Pours a hazy, dull straw color. The head is tall and dense. Lacing remains prominent for the duration.
The nose is promising at the start of pouring. I picked up bread, yeast, and the faintest Maillard. My brain interpreted the stimuli as Hawaiian rolls. I hoped this was a harbinger of better things to come, but it was the high point of a deteriorating experience. The smell degenerates into cloying sweetness and a faded malty-yeasty smell like the smell of a beer glass inadequately rinsed and left on the counter overnight.
The taste and feel are no better. The taste is thinned out malt sweetness with none of the advertised hops. The mouthfeel suggests the contents are at most three parts beer and one part tap water.
There are not many beers I would warn others to avoid, but this is one you would do well to pass by. If you want Polish beer, try a Komes offering.
