odd one here, a riff on what i reckon is their normal milk stout, this one done to mimic tiramisu, a cool idea, not sure about the execution, its exceedingly sweet, insanely lactose forward, and with a lot of interesting flavor wrinkles, somewhat confusing even, but pleasant in small doses. more than anything i was stoked to see beer from these guys flowing in idaho, i had no idea they sold out this way until i encountered it yesterday! deep reddish brown, black if you look at it fast, lighter if you slow down, not a lot of head but enough carbonation as it drinks. notes of roast, coffee, cherry cordial, full fat cream, vanilla, tobacco, booze, and like dr pepper soda or cola or something not beery, its malty yes, but its also really flavored, maple syrup character too, i swear i actually get mascarpone or something, tangy like that, and id love to know what all is actually in this. milk and tobacco in the flavor, brown sugar sweetness, this is truly diabetic, hints of port wine, oloroso sherry, vanilla bean, more soda pop, and some praline or something late, could be some barrel on this, id be curious to see the ingredient list. its a little greasy, like almost fatty and slick, although the body isnt huge. tons of flavor, a little much for me and not super well refined overall, but an interesting dessert beer thats sure to turn some heads. not quite tasting like tiramisu, but intriguing nevertheless...
