I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had dark malt and bourbon notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip. There was a sweet chocolate malt base with .molasses,
vanilla, apple, and boirbon presence and bourbon highlights. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
