I tried a sample of this beer off the tapper at the brewery in Menomonie, Wisconsin. It poured a clear copper with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle waifs of bitter hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and mild bitter citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Happy Little Trees pours pale, with not much head. Dry and hoppy aroma. Flavor is hoppy, but sweeter finish, nice dry feel. Good body and feel. Overall, a little lighter, and finishes more sweet then bitter.
