Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a nonic glass.
Clear, deep amber colored body. Creamy head. Leaves behind spots and short strings of lacing.
Aroma of toasted malts.
Taste is malty, mostly sweet but with a touch of bitterness. Flavors of caramel and dark fruit (raisin and prune). Mellow and malty aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Coats the mouth but has a crisper finish. Good carbonation.
Dark and mild brew for session work.
