From the can, it pours a very dark brown with a light brown head that slowly reduces and leaves a bit of lacing. The nose gets a dose of burnt bitter chocolate. Taste from the first can follows nose with notes of overcooked chocolate predominating, although the second can (of 4) was more pleasant with a creamy chocolate coming through. Out of date, perhaps it doesn't age well in all cans.

Can from local liquor store. Undated.
L: Very dark brown. Slightly opaque. Nice creamy light tan head with retention and a bit of lacing.
S: Tootsie roll, chocolate cream pie.
T: not as pronounced as smell. Hint of vanilla. Some cola. Hint of roastiness.
F: pretty thin, but this is expected.
Overall: I’m a believer in rating to style. On the other hand the flavors and mouthfeel are pretty weak.
It was ambitious to attempt a pastry porter of all things in a NA beer. Can’t imagine a much better job.

Pours opaque, dark brown in color with one third inch head. Taste is cocoa, roasted malt, tobacco and light vanilla. Medium heavy bodied with moderate carbonation, roasty. Solid especially for a non alcoholic beer. Wanted more vanilla. Happy with six but unsure if I would get again.
