Traditional German wheat beer with an aroma of clove and citrus notes.
Edelstein - German for 'gemstone' - has an added complement of citrus flavors due to a late addition of Perle, Opal, and Saphir hops.

A very fresh can (about three weeks old) poured into a big nonic pint glass. Dark yellow, more translucent than a NEIPA but still a very hazy, murky beer. Really nice, puffy two finger head that lingers well as I drink the beer.
Clove and banana on the nose, along with a shot of fresh cut grass and just a little barnyard funk.
Tastes like it smells, with whatever that grassy note is overshadowing the more traditional hefe flavors, and the slight bit of funk very evident as well.
Really soft mouthfeel, easy to drink. Goes down really fast.
Not a super traditional tasting hefeweizen, but delicious nonetheless. It's got a funky and spicy profile that I really enjoy in such a drinkable beer.
This little brewery reliably puts out high quality European style beers, and this hefeweizen is no exception. Worth buying if you see it and you like this style of beer.

Golden amber color with a 4F head in a Brooklyn hefe glass.
Spicy and some banana in the aroma.
The taste is quite fruity, unlike other Hefe which emphasize a spicier taste.
The body is a little fuller than other beers in the style. I like this.
Overall, very balanced. A slight departure from the traditional style, but very enjoyable.

I love this beer, love ❤️ it. Very much the taste is to style. The best part though is the great bunch of folks at the brewery. Thanks to them for their hard work. They are the best

A solid Hefeweizen. I agree with most of what jlindros stated but contrary to pervious reviewers I love the spice at the end

Draft at the brewery
Big pillowy frothy head, very large, long retention, good lacing, hazy deep orange tan colour
Nose nice yeast additions, fair citrus orange, little banana, spicy phenols, clove mostly, mild doughy wheat
Taste little sweet malt, mild doughy creamy wheat, little gristy, more citrus, orange mostly, little banana mostly late, spicy phenols again mostly clove, little bitterness late, drier lingering bitterness and little spicy
Mouth is med bod, creamy yet high prickly carb, little creamy
Overall not bad, pretty solid hefe, little too spicy on finish otherwise nice

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery grand opening today.
A - Poured a nice hazy darker golden hue with a fat two finger white head that fades to leave sticky lacing and a thin creamy blanket.
S - Aromas of banana, esters, creamy wheat. There's a little bit of grassy hops and tartness as well.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of nice esters and sweet bananas. Almost a little too sweet. Nice creamy wheat. Finish is a little bit of lingering bitterness, which is odd.
M - Mouthfeel is brightly carbonated, kind of fizzy.
O - Overall this was a solid enough hefe with some room for improvement. Really nice banana notes, esters are solid. The lingering bitterness throws me for a loop though.
