Elfe (4.8% abv) is a delightfully crisp blonde ale. Brewed with German pale malts and Tettanger hops, Elfe offers up floral, light citrus, and subtle honey notes and a nice dry finish.

Poured on draft at the brewery.

Pours a mostly clear bright golden color with a half-finger of creamy white head. The head leaves some streaks of cobweb lacing as it settles into a thin ring.

The aroma brings grassy and floral hop notes, as well as some orange and grapefruit. Very doughy on the back.

The flavor is quite citrusy, with notes of orange peel and lemon zest. Then comes a wave of grass and doughy malts before an earthy, bitter finish.

The feel is light bodied with good carbonation. Very crisp, yet creamy and smooth. Easy drinking.

Overall, a good blonde ale that doesn't blow you away with flavor but certainly provides a balanced, highly drinkable experience.

Big pillowy creamy foamy head great retention and lacing, semi hazy semi clear pale blond color

Nose mild sweet doughy blonde malt, cereal grain into a touch of lemony cereal, touch fruity and hoppy, little flowery honey

Taste sweet grainy base, toasted blonde doughy cereal malt, lemony and fruity pebbles, honey malt, grainy sweet, mild floral herbal hops lighter med bitterness, finishing drier with a bit more bitterness, lingering hop flavors, touch of minerality

Mouth is med bodied, soft almost creamy like, nice creamy carb

Overall a very solid blonde, nice malt profile and hops blend in nicely, good honey as well

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.

A - Poured a nice crystal clear golden hue with a thin white head that fades to leave light wisps and thin lacing.

S - Aromas of light honey and floral notes. Nice flashes of citrus along with a little fluffy malts.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of honey and floral followed by almost spicy hops. Little biscuit notes and some pleasant lingering bitterness that gets more intense as out goes.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, very crisp. Really nice.

O - Overall this was a very pleasant blonde. Maybe a touch too bitter on the finish.
