Yoots (Uh...did you say ‘Yoots?’), our cherry sour ale, is refreshingly tart with notes of cherry and lemon.

Draft at the brewery, I really love the name... I'm sorry, yooouths.
Big head, good retention, whispy lacing, hazy amber light reddish color
Nose big sour lacto funk, creamy funk, juicy cherry, doughy pie crust, bright acidity
Taste very creamy lacto funk and doughy pie crust almost Crisco like buttery, juicy tart cherry, mild lactic acid and maybe acetic, big juicy cherry overall, dry bready finish,
Mouth is med bod, creamy lacto, lactic acid, medium carb
Overall mixed, the cherry was interesting, not not sure how much I did the pie crust in the beer, but I could see where they were going with it

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.
A - Poured a nice super hazy pale almost grapefruit juice hue with a nice creamy one finger head that fades to leave light lacing a thick halo and light lacing.
S - Big aromas of creamy lactic funk and lemons. Nice juicy cherry aroma, almost jam like. Quite bright.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of sweeter slightly tart cherry juice. Little cherry pie like between the cherry flavour and lactose. Little biscuit like, slightly doughy, tarter lemon finish.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, crisp, clean. Just a slight lingering flemmyness on the finish.
O - Overall this was a very solid sour cherry beer. Excellent cherry flavour and aroma with nice lactic cream. Very enjoyable.
