Our cranberry and cardamom sour, Cran You Dig It is assertively tart with a big cranberry aroma and flavor, and subtle herbal, mint, and ginger notes.

Interesting mix with the cranberry and the cardamom. Cranberry is a perfect match for a sour, but the cardamom does not really add to the enjoyment of this beer.

Draft at the brewery
Light fizzy head, low retention, ok for sour, hazy bright reddish color rosy color
Nose bright tart cranberry, some spicy cardamom, juicy soft fruit and creamy tart lacto, big juicy cranberry aroma
Taste brings tart funk, lacto creamy sourness with light acidity, big lacto creamy, mild overall tartness, fair cranberry juice, little cranberry skin, little honey note, cardamom is very light, slight drier flemmy finish
Mouth is med to lighter bod, carb is a bit light but ok, light tart acidity, not too flemmy
Overall very nice, loads of cranberry, just enough cardamom but could use a touch more, well done for a light sour

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.
A - Poured a nice slightly hazy almost neon red hue with a thin white head that fades to leave light wisps. The color is crazy.
S - Big aromas of super bright acidic cranberries. Juicy, fresh, tart...really intense. Flashes of an almost earthy spice; I'd never guess cardamom.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with nice incredibly aggressive tart cranberries. Flashes of a good creamy wheat base and lactic acidity before the waves of cranberry hits. There is a subtle lingering cardamom spice on the finish that mixes really interestingly with the cranberry.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, crisp, finish is lingering flemmy notes.
O - Overall this was a very solid wild ale. Very much reminds me of old school Cisco Lady Of The Woods Cranberry from years and years ago. Excellent balance of base beer to cranberry.
