Draft at the brewery
Large foamy head, fair retention, nice soapy lacing, crystal clear tan golden color
Nose starts with typical gose like lacto sour, tart lacto funk but not too much, little lemony, grassy hay, then unique herbal floral tea, a bit earthy and fruity, more of the floral fruity tea as it warms
Taste nice tart lacto base, again like gose without the salt, a bit lemony, bready doughy malt, grassy hay, touch of honey, little cracker, then herbal floral tea, a little black tea like bitterness, light fruity flavors with touch dried cherry, turning earthy woodsy like almost oak like, maybe a touch nutty even, dry bready typical gose finish but not flemmy, and more mild bitter herbal tea lingering
Mouth is med to lighter bod, creamy lacto like, a bit light in the carb
Overall quite interesting, a unique juxtaposition of the mild tart sour and the fun herbal tea without clashing

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.
A - Poured a nice crystal clear golden honey hue with a fat head that fades to leave light lacing and a thin blanket.
S - Big aromas of almost creamy wheat, tart citrus almost gose aroma, bright lemons and earthy tea leaves. Flashes of almost tart cherries.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with pleasant tart lemons and nice background of grains. Good tea flavour, albeit subtle, little earthy and almost honey like. Lingering subtle sour cherries. Good balance of tart and sweet.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, bright, but light in body. Comes across as almost a bit thin.
O - Overall this was a very solid sour ale featuring Cascara. Very unique and balanced. Quite enjoyable.
