No can date
Pours a fizzy bubbly 2 finger head with lower retention, collapses quickly, touch of wispy lacing, fairly hazy med golden tan color
Nose brings apple cider up front, with apple pie spices, maybe cinnamon, all spice, ginger, clove, a bit of sweet orange peel, with a base Berlinerweisse/Gose like mild yogurt lacto funk notes, creamy, raw dough, the base kettle sour comes through more as it warms
Taste brings more of the apple cider up front but a smooth sweet like apple cider you get at a supermarket, quickly into the yogurt creamy lacto funk, vanilla yogurt, more raw bread dough, sourdough, again that base kettle sour gose like shines nicely, very mild apple pie spices, hints of like that ginger, clove, all spice, apple and cinnamon on the back end, mild tart flemmy on the finish
Mouth is med to lighter bod, but high frothy carb, a bit creamy, mild flemmy tart finish
Overall not bad, the fact that the base kettle sour comes through so well saves this beer, not a huge fan of the apple cider since it is more that commercialized like cider, spices are OK since they are more muted as well, blended fairly well. Normally I would steer very clear of a beer like this, but I figured Redemption Rock would do it justice.
