On tap at Falling Piano Brewing in Colonia Roma Norte, Mexico City, Mexico.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like both dark and milk chocolate, honey, coffee, smores, and light campfire smoke.

There’s no actual smores flavor in this, but the smoke and honey in here sort of just tricks my dumb beer brain into thinking it tastes smoresish, and I love that. This is really quite good, and one of the best beers I had in Mexico City. It’s slightly oaky, with a pleasant honey sweetness that never verges into too sweet. There’s a nice spiced feel to it, with a touch of campfire smoke, and lots of silky chocolate notes.

This is medium bodied, creamy, and pretty rich, with a nice drinkability.

This was really unique, and pretty surprising to see from a small Mexico City brewery. I really enjoyed it.
