Reve Brewing

Visited while on the Jax Ale Trail. Very, very local. Very beach, not the South Florida type. In a strip mall near the Navy base. The first time walked in and out some years back because I went on Tiki Hut week and it no way looked like any brewery I'd ever seen. In any case, years later, I stayed and they actually make a couple of decent beers . Nice folks. Kid and baby friendly. If you're looking for a trendy craft beer hall with a full menu to meet single pretty girls , this is not your place, but otherwise if in the area for a cold local beer, stop in.

 

Very small place, but it's done up very nice, with a unique but easy and natural feel to it; special without seeming forced or kitschy.

Quality of the beers, from porters to sours to IPAs ("Haze, fruit, and imperials" is what they proclaim on their website), is very good, arguably vying with Aardwolf for the best in Jax. Tap selection isn't huge, but it's good enough to try out their different styles and see what they do well.
