On tap at Greensboro taphouse into pint glass. Pours clear ruby brown color with a 1-2 finger dense light khaki head and soapy lacing on the glass. This tastes identical to "not your fathers" root beer for the throwback. However it keeps head and lacing way better than that one. Spot on herbal/root taste with licorice and molasses malt sweetness. Medium plus carb and body. Fairly crisp clean refreshing finish. Balanced creamy malt and sticky spicy feel. Lingering drying with no cloying.
