Had Almost Friday at Steel Hands Brewing taproom, Cayce, S.C., on draft into graduated-taper, improved shaker.
Pours medium yellow with clarity and creamy 1-finger near-white head, which soon drops to a persistent film, and leaves nice Belgian lace etched down the glass. Floral, mild hop spice and a hint of barley aromas off pour, and growing orchard fruit aroma as warms. On tasting, begins creamy and sweet malt, with herbal hop bite, then some mild orchard fruit, and Noble hop spice, all over the continuing smooth body, before a crisp but still there body.
A little malt forward, and/but nice hop spice and the expected orchard fruit deliver a solid APA.
