Copenhagen 3/4 2023. 33 cl bottle from Belgisk Bryg, Emdrup Mosevej, Kbh. NV. Red label with two Giants - one carrying an apartment building - taking a stroll.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a huge white head. Stable. Settles as 5 cm thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and perhaps dampened by the massive layer of foam. Sweet fruity odor barely hiding the scent of alcohol. Sharp citric notes. Ripe pear and peach. Bread and toffee. Grapefruit and grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Potent, fruity and a bit boozy.
