Look - looks like dark brown mud with a nice rimming though and lacing
Smell - smokey roasty slight belgium
Taste - Smokey and roasty with a bubble gum yeast along with some coffee caramel and chocolate
Feel - medium full body with a medium carb
Overall - looked horrible, not sure if it's the bottle of the barrel. Really smokey too...

From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This solid
imperial pours a dark coal black with a thin dark tea highlight
and a light head of off white foam that settles to a light dusty
layer. Nose of dark sweet chocolate, dark roasted malts, hints
of dark fruits, and touches of char and light booze. Flavors surpass
the nose with dark chocolate to the fore, subtle coffee, light fruit
notes of black and blueberry, and earthy dark roasted malts. Nice
mouth feel; full body, medium light carbonation, and a rich
chocolate laden finish that is subtly dry.
Overall, after tasting this one I am convinced that this is one
brewery to watch out for as they perfect their recipes. Awesome
owners, nice environment, and a diamond in the rough.
Check them out!
Cheers
