Juice Life from Froth Brewing. 16 fl oz can. $ 4.00 (Including tax), $ 0.25/fl oz from Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA, can from reefer, picked up 29/11/24. Reviewed 04/01/25 (Review 3439). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Undated can. Stored at 39 degrees F at home. Served at 49.6 degrees F in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. The final temperature was 52.7 degrees F.
Appearance – 4.25.
First pour – Light Straw (SRM 2), opaque.
Body – Straw (SRM 3), opaque. Under direct light, same. When rear-lite, same.
Head: Large (Maximum seven cm, aggressive center pour), white, high density. Slowly opens up becoming frothy and drops to a 0.8 – 2.2 cm jagged crown fed and a complete, rocky cap with a center mesa. Second pour produces a four cm high density head.
Lacing – Excellent! The entire inside of the glass is dotted with islands and short bands of froth.
Aroma – 4 – Begins with a blast of orange, slightly bitter, but quickly develops a weak note of moldy citrus rind. No yeast, no ethanol (6.7 % ABV, as marked on label). No disulfide or diacetyl.
Flavor – 4 – Less orange than the nose, more generic citrus, slightly bitter. No yeast, no ethanol. No disulfides, no diacetyl. Finishes slightly sweet. Mild gastric warming.
Palate – 4 – Medium; approaching creamy; lively but soft carbonation.
Style: Basically, follows the style guidelines as condensed by BA.
Final impression and summation: 4 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated container) The appearance is just about perfect for a hazy IPA, while the nose, flavor, and palate leave little to be desired. Overall, good beer.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a hazy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of oranges. Taste is juicy, oranges, light mango, moderate bitterness for a NEIPA. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Partly cloudy, pale gold colored body. One finger of white head. Leaves behind descending layers of lacing that leave less and less.
Aroma of mango, melon, and pineapple. Whiffs of coconut.
Taste is mango, muskmelon, and orange. More minor flavors of coconut and pineapple. Long and lingering aftertaste.
More than medium mouth feel. Very good carbonation.
Not expressing the overripe fruit flavor but still mature and balanced.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had fresh pineapple and mango notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet malt base with pineapple and mango peel presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

First beer that I ever had from Froth, as I picked it up late last year at Fanwood Liquors. Never had anything from these guys before and although this wasn't particularly memorable, this was a decent take on the style that didn't have any hard edges to it as it was true to form, unoffensive, and easy to drink from start to finish!
Hazy, muted, and golden, this had a textbook look for a New England IPA. Enough suds topped this off as the lacing left behind was quite soapy and extensive although there weren't any well-defined rings to be seen. Lots of orange, tangerine, and marmalade in the nose as the taste was quite juicy, sweet, and fairly sticky. Citrus tang was present throughout and indeed, this was one-dimensional with a ton of jam in the back on top of a faint, turbid hop presence that reminded me that indeed, this was a beer.
The amount of alcohol was on point as I only felt a hint of it. Dated 8/11 on the side of the can, this held up well over the last 8 months as there wasn't any sediment to be seen. Lots of orange on the label and that was the case with the liquid too as this felt like juice that was somehow put into a jar and preserved. If that's your thing, you've met your match here!
