On tap at Roscoe's in PDX today. Am not familiar with this brewery. Am also a bit surprised this beer hadn't previously been added to the data base. No matter...
The beer pours a fairly dark, opaque gold color with good head retention and lacing. This beer is aptly named, and is a complete juice bomb on the nose. Lot's of pineapple, orange juice, mango and papaya in this one. The flavor profile replicates the nose in this fairly sweet DIPA. However, the sweetness isn't over the top and there's enough bitterness in the finish to counter and balance the sweetness. Mouthfeel is fairly full, with a long finish. Carbonation is on the low side, but it works well with this beer. Alcohol is well integrated into the flavor profile, though you can tell it's up there a bit.
While nothing extraordinary, this is a well crafted, easy to enjoy and appreciate DIPA. Very nicely done.
