A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short off white head that died down, leaving a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of chocolate are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, but has a bit stronger flavors of chocolate along with notes of marshmallows and hints of coconuts.
M: It feels medium-bodied and smooth on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. There is some dryness in the finish.
O: This beer is easy to drink but would have been nicer if it had stronger flavors of coconut and marshmallows.
Serving type: can

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing nearly opaque in the glass very little visible carbonation, although the thin line around the glass appears to be khaki; no lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt with light char, coffee, bakers chocolate and Postum. Flavor is semi-sweet dark toasted malt, coffee, coconut and light vanilla; flavor tapers off in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A quite mellow, light stout more like a porter. The coconut and vanilla are present, but also subdued. Satisfactory light coffee and chocolate notes, although not much left in the finish. Pleasantly balanced and the flavor is pretty good, but needs a more malt depth and flavor sustain. Kind of a boring pour too, although the carbonation was satisfactory. I liked this, but probably wouldn't get it again; it's a crowded field for stouts out there.

Of my 2000 plus beers rated I’ve never rated a beer this low. I taste zero coconut and zero marshmallow. Also has no head whatsoever and the body of this beer doesn’t qualify as a stout not ever a Porter. This beer sucks tastes like I’m drinking black coffee straight up.!
