I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear copper with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had sweet malt and sugar cane notes. The taste was bitter from start to finish...true to West Coast form. There was a dry semi sweet malt base with bitter pine resin and subtle citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
