Stumbled on this “Twisted” series #2 as I was buying some new BA bottles. A little pricey at $15 for a 12 oz growler, but in hindsight, this was a damn good brew. The coconut added an extreme amount of viscosity. I’m not sure if this had marshmallow like the regular Toasted, which also would add to the viscosity. The Whistle Pig barrel was an interesting choice. I had WP barreled quads and lagers, but this is the first stout. It works though. I am not often a fan of Froth, for no real particular reason other than maybe the over-reach when they charged $30 for their first ever 500 ml BA stout back when they were a glimmer of a brewery and even Mortalis was “only” in the $24 range. Maybe they’re finding a stride. The other 500 ml BA stouts are down to $18, so maybe I’ll pay a little more attention and give them a bit more of my money.
