L: SRM 38 Pours pretty much black with a thin slightly off white head that recedes to edge foam, low carbo, light random lacing.
S: Caramelized malts, a hint of toffee, toasted grains.
T: Lightly sweet caramelized malts, a touch of burnt sugar, light toffee, rains, brown bread crust, vague dark fruit notes.
F: Smooth medium-bodied mouthfeel with a medium length smooth finish.
O: Overall a good tasting English Style Porter. IMHO it is on the mild side, and that's proper. Low hops, roasty malts, smooth slightly flat feel, nice balanced aftertaste. Really easy drinking. A nice beer tip to tail. It is good in its style.
