On tap at the brewery. An easy drinking beer that is fairly mild tasting. It is smooth drinking and has a medium bodied mouthfeel. It has a nice amber color and basically no head. The balance is good and it is a bit more malty than hoppy IMO. I would get this beer again but try it in a nucleated glass to bring a bit more life into it. It is good.

Pours a clear penny copper color, thin white crown, with no retention and modest lacing. Kind of sulfuric note, some wet biscuity malt, fruity (plum and cherry maybe?) hops. Taste stays consistent with the nose, though I keep on hoping the malt will shine a bit more, and that the hops will stay away from medicinal territory, but to no avail…it is distinctive, and on the finish there is a little tea-like tannin, but eh. It’s okay, but not nearly as good an English style effort as their brown ale, which is quite good.
