Our flagship beer from our everyday range Turtles All The Way Down has pronounced hops and a rounded body with soft bitterness. “If the beer world is balanced on the back of a giant hop, what supports that hop? “ “Why it’s hops all the way down of course.”
We do love hops, but believe beers other ingredients can impart so much to the balance and flavour, mouthfeel and enjoyment of a beer. We hope our Turtles (read Hops) swimming off the can can signify beer lovers can keep moving on journey with and beyond hops

Copenhagen 7/1 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of a lot of swimming turtles seen directly from above in green and leafy water.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - yellow with a big and fairly stable white head. Settles as thin but frothy layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer but crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with sharp, acerbic citric fumes. Sweet pale malts. Hay and straws. Hints of sweet peach. Citrus and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Gentle, soft and sour.

Schooner on tap from Pint Shop, Cambridge (£6.50):
Slightly hazy golden with a thin white surface lacing that's patchy around the circumference. It's quite a light aroma initially, citrus & light tropical notes for the most part then a pungent hop bitterness & overripe fruits, mango, papaya & similar. The taste is a moderately tropical one with the papaya & mango from the nose, some apricot & dry hop oils with some citrus & lime to finish. It's really dry & hoppy with an oily feel & a medium body that's lightly carbonated.
