This was the first beer that I ever reviewed from Untied as I traded for it about a month or so ago. Some of their offerings were available locally but this was bought at the brewery by a friend of mine. Lots of hops in this one but everything melded well together as this was a smooth and balanced IPA with just enough going for it!
Nice, golden pour to this as the beer was uniformly hazy with a sufficient head topping it off. Only one thick of rocky lacing remained as that was about a quarter of the way down the side of my pint glass. Quite an exotic smell and feel to this beer as there was lots of jack and star fruit, heavy floral notes, and turbid hops in the nose. Heavy citrus rind and an underlying slickness came through in the taste as there was not a lot of carbonation to keep things light. Some nectar and honey added to the sweetness as that faded into a deep and dewy forest and dank booziness that led into the next sip, all the way to the last drop.
This felt heavier than it was in actuality but it had to be because there were five hops in this beer. If you like your IPA's to resemble something between a quasi-unfamiliar tropical beer and a pithy sweet and sticky brew, then look no further than this. No date on the bottom of the can but it did have "GIVING BACK" written on this as this was brewed to benefit the pandemic. Glad to give this a go as this was an enjoyable first impression from Untied!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
