Reviewed three days after can release. Poured into a tulip glass. It pours a hazy, bright tangerine color with a large, fluffy, milk-white head and thick, soapy lacing. The aromatic nose. features lemon, tangerine, onion, raspberry, and the unmistakable smell of Nelson hops. Its taste opens highly fruity with both tart and sweet citrus - lemon, lime, and orange - along with raspberry and notes of peach and white wine grape. The blend of Citra and Galaxy hops furnish bright fruit. As it warms I can also taste the red currant from the Enigma hops. The influence of the Nelson Sauvin hops is evident, as well. There is moderate bitterness throughout and it is stronger as it warms.. The mouth feel is rich and creamy with a pleasant level of carbonation, and at 6.8% ABV it's readily drinkable. Overall, Murphy's Law is an excellent New England IPA. The fruitiness is nicely balance by the use of the Nelson hops. An fine recipe, well-executed.
