Traded for this recently as I've become a fan of Untied recently. Their beers have gotten better in recent months and although this wasn't anything groundbreaking, this was an easily enjoyable New England IPA that wasn't overly juicy, hazy, or strong as it felt as much an American Pale Ale as anything else.

Pretty typical pour to this beer as it was golden, bright, and nicely radiant. Plenty of head topped it off with some bigger bubbles rising to the surface. A nice amount of lacing was left behind along the middle of my pint glass as a few deep rings stood out with a good amount of splotches the rest of the way down. Lots of soap, lemon, and grapefruit tang in the nose as the taste had a ton of dank melon, apricot, and stone fruit as they become quite noticeable as this fully warmed up. Slick, dank, and just turbid enough, some floral bitterness emerged in the aftertaste as none of the five hops stood out above any of the others.

The malt was split between sweet and cracker as the carbonation was spot-on and the booze was barely noticeable. A hint of pithy tangerine slickness and deep pine forest defined the aftertaste as this felt as fresh as could be. Canned on 4/6 with "COLORADO" written below it, this was a fine beer that was nicely balanced because of the wheat and oats, although I hardly detected those on my palate. It's nice to see how Untied has progressed as the subtly beautiful label was on par with the soothing and enjoyable liquid on the inside of the can.

Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours a dense, murky, bright orange color with a thin, milk-white head and like colored lacing. The appearance would be better if poured from a can. The fragrant, dank nose features orange, tangerine, lemon, and onion. Its taste opens with dank, earthy notes from the Columbus hops and lots of tart citrus up front: lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, along with ripe melon, stone fruit, and a hint of sweet cracker malt in the background. The Amarillo and Mosaic hops shine. There are also notes of resinous pine from the Azacca. The El Dorado hops provide balanced bitterness, as well as some of the tropical fruit flavors. Untied has managed to pack a lot of fruit flavor in this ale. The mouth feel is fairly creamy for 6.8% ABV and the carbonation level is appropriate. Overall, I really enjoyed Data Determines Date. It's very flavorful and drinks easily. It's a winner and I may revise my rating after buying cans.
