Reviewed 2 days after canning. Poured into a tulip glass. It pours a murky, pastel orange with a creamy, eggshell colored cap and thick film of lacing. It's aromatic nose features lemon, lime, ripe melon, and subtle but discernible honey. The taste is a lot more tart than the smell would indicate. In fact, the primary taste is grapefruit rind and lemon. However, as it warms there is increasing sweetness from the locally sourced honey. The tropical fruit slowly emerges so don't drink it too quickly. The Ekuanot hops add some herbal notes. It has a high level of acidity due to the Vic Secret hops and finishes with some astringency which may dissipate as the ale ages in the can. It's well-carbonated and the mouth feel is a bit less creamy than typical for Untied's DIPAs. Overall, What About Us is an enjoyable DIPA. To me, it's a bit of a change of pace for Untied. It reminds me more of a DIPA brewed by Magnify or Twin Elephant - not bad company to keep.
