Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It pours an opaque, pale orange with a thin, eggshell-colored cap and minimal lacing. The carbonation level is evident in the volume of bubbles. It smells of bright lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, and floral hops. The taste opens with a nice balance of tart citrus and dry wheat cracker. As it warms a bit there is increasing tangerine/orange and oaty sweetness. The classic blend of Citra and Mosaic hops is in full effect. There are also earthy, piney notes from the Simcoe hops. It finishes dry with moderate, clean bitterness. This ale is lite and crisp with lively carbonation on draught. The use of wheat and oats gives it pleasing viscosity. At 5.5% ABV it's very easy to drink. Overall, this ale's name is apt. I'm not usually a fan of APAs but this one is flavorful and crushable.
