A never before released barrel aged version of our imperial porter, Morning Meeting. This imperial porter was originally brewed with Coffee, Vanilla, Cinnamon, and Maple Syrup. It was then conditioned in bourbon barrels and prior to bottling was conditioned with additional coffee, coco nibs, and vanilla beans.

Poured into a tulip glass. It pours dark walnut with neither head nor lacing. A nice, fragrant nose with dark chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, maple sugar, tobacco smoke, and cola. The taste follows. The flavors and mellow but distinguishable. The effect of the bourbon barrel aging is subtle and compliments the chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, and maple. There is also a chalky quality. The best attribute of this Porter is its mouth feel: rich, thick, and creamy with low carbonation, and it drinks below its 9% ABV. Overall, this variant of Morning Meeting is very good despite its lack of cap and lacing.
