New England style India Pale Ale with its thick and soft malt base brewed with a unique blend of Citra, Mosaic, Rakau, Azacca, and El Dorado hops providing a burst of citrus, candied peach, grapefruit, tangerine, and passion fruit notes and aromas and delivering a smooth, refreshing finish.

Reviewed less than a week after release. On draught at the brewery. Served in a 13.5 oz. Willi Becher glass. It is an opaque, bright tangerine color with a half finger cap of creamy, milk-white foam and soapy lacing. The smell is fruity and fragrant with lemon, peach, berry, and soft floral hops. Its taste is big with notes of lemon, lime, tangerine, peach, stone fruit, and berry, supplemented with a creamy (oats?) sweetness and a hint of pine sap. The flavors evolve as the ale warms. There is minimal bitterness. The mouth feel is vintage Untied: plush and creamy with moderate carbonation. The 6.9% ABV gives it good substance. Overall, Bring Me to Life is another excellent New England IPA from Untied, a brewery that excels in the style.
