On draught at the brewery. Served in a Willi Becher glass. A dense, murky, bright orange pour with minimal head and lacing. The smell is fruity with notes of tangerine, pineapple, and peach. Its taste is tropical fruit-forward with fresh peach, orange/tangerine, lemon, and grapefruit. As it warms a bit I begin to notice the Sabro with creamy sweetness and a hint of coconut. There is a nice level of bitterness throughout. This ale has a full, plush mouth feel with pleasant carbonation, and with an ABV of 6.8% a second pour is not an issue. Overall, Getting Away is another very good New England IPA from Untied. It would be a fine summertime IPA.
