a: lightly hazy pale yellow and orange color with a 1 finger white head

s: ripe orange and mango. mango sorbet and tangerines. candied apricots and some crusty malty bread. guava and kiwi with a hint of grassy sweetness

t: pineapple and mango sorbet upfront. creamy oranges and lots of kiwi and guava. some grapefruit bitterness at the end. some peach juice and sugary sweetness as well as some candied lemon. kiss more bitterness at the back

m: fuller side of medium with strong carbonation

o: i'd think given the abv i would want to classify this as a NEDIPA, however it drinks more like a regular bitter NEIPA. tropical with some bitter balance

Reviewed the day after can release for Untied Brewing Company's 6th anniversary. Poured into a tulip glass. It pours an opaque, muddy tangerine color with a full finger cap of creamy, bright white foam and thick, sudsy lacing. The smell is fruity with tart citrus and sweeter peach and stone fruits. It is complex and flavorful with notes of lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, tropical fruits, pine needles, black tea, and earthy bitterness. Interestingly, it was sweeter and less bitter on draught than from the can. The mouth feel is luxuriously thick and creamy with pleasant carbonation, and it doesn't drink like 8.5% ABV; it goes down very smoothly. Overall, this ale is ambitiously hopped with Citra, Mosaic, Idaho 7, Azacca, Alora, and Waimea and it is complex. I'm not sure why the can pour differs from the tap pour. Perhaps another week in the can will make a big difference.
