750 mL bottle. Deep brown. Smells of a little yogurt, red wine, and vinous acidity. Tastes of yogurt and wine too. Lots of wine and some dark fruit. Hints of bread and oak in the finish. Medium body. Heavy barrel character. Missing some caramel and body of a true sour brown, but I guess they were going for the dry and oaky version, which this definitely is. Good.

Pours a hazelnut brown color with some ember hints glowing through, together with a medium sized, spongy, mohagony colored head.
Smells of fermented red wine grapes, bakers chocolate, fresh plowed earth and strong notes of leather. This develops a nutty smell as well, going well together with green apple skin and lighter balsamic vinegar among calming, old oak.
Drinks soft and refreshing with a long lasting, thirst quenching tartness, pointing out the beer‘s lighter body very well.
Drinks truly rejuvenating from first sip, introducing a sparkly, mineralic effervescence to the palate, which brings up bakers chocolate, wild berries and lighter honey among a prominent tartness. Turns a tad more chocolaty then with wooden oak joining in, which leaves some space on the tongue for dried garden herbs and tomato pith being able to cut through. The beer finishes with a light acetic peak, immediately getting wrapped up into blood oranges, leather and matured, fermented grape skins among a lighter dryness, creating a balanced and pleasant tart aftertaste.
Incredible complex and well balanced Flemish Red with just the right amount of tartness, finding a great counterpart in sweet and dry flavors. This drinks easy, while providing an awesome depth, revealing new flavor nuances with each sip.

Bottle.
Bubbly tan head. Murky maroon hued brown. Bottle wasn’t settled.
A very nice oud Bruin style. Tart with some cherries, the caramel malts show. Malty. Some red wine flavors.
Very drinkable and well done for the style.
