Yields a dark red color with a medium sized, immediately vanishing white head atop.
Smells of meaty red wine grapes, wet grass, dried herbs and old leather among gnarly oak. Got a glimpse of a luscious orange sweetness to it, only to get washed away by a prominent, yet flowery blue cheese and barnyard aroma.
Mouthfeel on this is unusual full without losing any of its refreshment, providing a lively effervescence throughout, which reveals a late, soft mineralic quality.
Tastes of sweaty leather gloves, entrecôte among dusty, yet elegant and fruity red wine grapes, wrapped up by a profound oakiness with a well rounded herbal dryness to it. It’s stony effervescence lends a refreshing complexity to the flavors, with a faint strawberry sweetness among blood oranges, unripe raspberries and used baby diapers. Finishes with a hint of alcohol cleared campfire, sugary lime slices and overripe, bitter and fruity grapes, together with lingering cheese, crafting an incredibly complex aftertaste, to a well working bitter sweet interplay with a slowly uprising and lasting dryness.
Perfection! I love their beer wine hybrids and this one takes the crown as for how bold, yet well balanced, finely nuanced and pompitous this is.

Bottled June 2020. Ruby sapphire red color. White head.
A nice blend of red wine and lambic inspired beer. The funk is awesome for how young it is. Lots of manure notes. Grape and red wine for days. Much different than a grape lambic. This is a very nice offering from Antidoot.
