Yields a dark red color with a bigger pink head, soon receding to a thin coating atop the liquid.

This offers a complex interplay of both meaty, leathery and fermented grapes among ripe, flowery and jammy cherries. The barrel adds an oaken, earthy cinnamon spiciness to the beer, as well as a layer of dusty rock sugar.

Mouthfeel on this is light and refreshing with a well accentuated, bubbly carbonation, inheriting a stony quality.

Tastes of matured, balsamic red grapes with a certain funk and leather heaviness to them, peaking with a noteable sherry wine warmth, as well as sweet and elegant cherries, enriched by a gentle note of vanilla bean. Offers a calm, aqueous middle part in which the barrel unfolds a rustic spiciness, adding perfectly to the complexity of the fruit in this. Finishes with smoky walnuts, a unique sardines glutamine umami flavor and a fulfilling marriage between the fruits, leading to a long lasting fruit and wine interplay on the tongue.

This is featuring another intriguing beer / wine experiment, defined by an easy drinking character, which at the same time reveals an astonishing, yet subtle and finely nuanced complexity. The cherries and the grapes dance a marvelous duet on the tongue which leaves no feet motionless.

Awesome blend of cherry and wine. Both components show nicely while the Pinot noir shows more as it warms. Grapes, tannins, oak. Very complex. Dry wine like finish. Fruity, but balanced, full flavored, easy drinking.
