Yields a slightly unfiltered yellow to amber color with a soon vanishing eggshell colored head.
Aromas lead with juicy blood oranges, mellow hay and herbal oak.
Its mouthfeel is light and refreshing with a well developed, lively carbonation.
Tastes of noble, leafy and utmost herbal matured hops, creating a dry bitterness, bringing additional, equally bitter yet fruity blood oranges to the palate. The beer turns even drier then with supportive, subtle caramel malts with juicy oranges cutting through. Finishes with cream cheese, bread dough and wet basement, creating an intriguing late complexity, showcasing the beer‘s rich oakiness, ending with additional elderflower and citrus peel.
A beer full of contrasts, brought together by a beautifully integrated barrel character.

Bottled March 1, 2021.
White head. Golden orange color.
Very bitter and all the orange citrus. Big blood orange finish. Lots or bitter herbs. Fairly citrusy. A bit sour, a bit tart. Very interesting and enjoyable.
