Yields a slightly clouded golden color with a smaller, disappearing head.
Smells of wet campfire wood, flowery orange blossom as well as ripe red apples among long worn leather boots. This got an intriguing oak and fruit interplay to it, making the nose quite interesting.
The mouthfeel on this is light, with a refreshing, effervescent carbonation, while exhibiting quite a complex beer.
Tastes of wet earth, skunky weed and bright oranges, inheriting a citrus dryness among spicy oak and prominent, bitter herbs. Turns a bit more mellow then with a nuanced blue cheese funk blending right into rich wheat and softer turning orange blossom. Finishes with exquisitely tart yet elegant oranges revealing a sweeter peak, together with a sprizzy carbonation burst, roquefort and matured, alcohol soaked and burned oak.
The oranges in this create an even more complex, yet elegantly well working and great tasting beer.
