Among the darkest of our beers, don’t be fooled by the smooth drinkability of Terra Noir. This 8% Baltic Porter is a product of patience and is fermented cold with lager yeast for a strong, clean taste. Perfect any time but pairs especially well with fireside chats, virtual meetings, and voyages.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter from the brewery while visiting with Bluejacket74 and Laura!
This solid brew pours a dark and muddled blackish brown with a nice head of tan foam that
settles to a fat ring, thin layer, and sports some nice lacing. Nose of char, roast, smoke, bakers
chocolate, dark fruits, and dark breaded malts. Flavors follow the nose nicely with dark roasted
malts, char, smoke, a dash of cream and brulee, earthy malts, and dark fruit notes of blackberry
and raspberry. Nice mouth feel; medium full verging on a full body, smooth as silk, coating,
light carbonation, and a lightly sweet and deeply roasted bitter malt finish.
Overall----YUP----She's a Baltic and a fine one at that!
Cheers

I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had faint roast and sweet bread notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with roast and peat presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.
