12 FL. OZ. can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours a darker shade of yellow and is turbid. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
Nice citrus aroma with hints of tropical fruit, melon, and pine
Good citrus flavor. Hints of melon and pine in the finish
Medium bodied with a chalky mouthfeel
I really liked this beer on tap. The can is not quite as good.

This is another sample that really is too old, yet the brew is pretty OK and then some.
It pours light, dirty yellow with loads of cloudiness. The aroma is pretty dank for something this old. The taste is a bit flatter, with not enough bittering (due to age?) and a strange mouthfeel.
Recommended. I, especially, need to give this another try whenever I can get some fresh.

L - golden and murky with a cloudy white head that lingered around the edges
S - notes of citrus and pine
T - great flavors of grapefruit/pineapple and stone fruit bitterness
F - light/medium mouthfeel with medium carbonation
O - very nice beer, good representation of the style

Bought this at my local Giant Eagle grocery. I like to drink local when I can, and especially during Covid quarantine.
Not my favorite of this style: not as hazy or hoppy or juicy, but a damn fine beer. On the plus side, I could drink several of these, unlike their more popular NE IPA couisins. Paired well with grilled walleye.

Description: Light, pale orange color and super hazy as befits the style. Good head retention. Smell is floral, melon and fruity. Well balanced without much bitterness. Taste follows the nose with hits of fruit and floral, good balance and only a small dose of bitterness on the finish. Body is medium with medium to high carbonation – maybe even a little too much carbonation.
Overall: 4.25 (This beer is good and I would likely drink it again) Flavorful and balances, this is an all-around solid IPA and a good representation of the style. That it comes from such a new brewery is even more impressive, as I’ve had many IPAs from more established brewers that didn’t measure up to this. Hopefully these early beers are just a sign of more good things to come!
