The mountain bike trails at Alum Creek were built in two phases. The first evolved out of an old-school rooty network of fishing trails. Phase 2 was designed from the ground up as a sustainable 6-mile ribbon of single track … Nocterra’s backyard ripper.
Our West-Coast style IPA leads with orange & apricot aromas. It’s lightly dank with citrus notes & a pleasant resinous bitterness.
Phase 2 rolls across your tastebuds & isn’t afraid to send it.

Pours a deep gold, light head, moderate lacing. Smells woodsy, pine needles and grass. Upon the tongue, sharp yet grainy, lots of bite, a touch of orange peel. The feel is unique, the malts are still in play here, but the hops hold. The chewy feel of the Simcoe comes through in the finish. Solid beer

12 oz can, canned on 5/4/21 (Four Dead in O Hi O), poured into a mason jar at 45 degrees F:
L - golden and murky, with a soft, white head that lingered around the edges
S - pine and stone fruit, a whisp of biscuit
T - great blend of hops, stone fruit, pine, a bit of citrus
F - medium mouthfeel and carbonation
O - very nice IPA that is growing on me

Description: Appearance is light gold and slightly cloudy with no real head. Aroma is more sweet than bitter/piney with notes of mango and grapefruit. Aroma is pretty large and effervescent. Dankness from the aroma carries over into the taste, but there's definitely more bitterness. Grapefruit and melon are prominent. Body and carbonation are both medium with a dry finish.
Overall: 4 (This beer is good and I may or may not drink it again) A solid offering showing some depth and complexity of flavor. Another good option from Nocterra.

I got a 6pck of this beer from the brewery. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank ripe fruit presence. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with ripe slightly bitter citrus. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.
