Sun Scream [suhn-skreem]; Verb – A joyous vocalization expressed while experiencing Summer to the max. Frequently heard at pool parties, the beach, backyard BBQs, or any place where good vibes abound. Often sounds like “Awesome!”, “Dude!”, “So Cool” & of course, “Oh Yeah!”
Bursting with bright, citrus aroma, this summer wheat is a total summer crusher. Garnish with a slice of orange & thank us later. Don’t forget to bring your Sun Scream wherever your summer adventure leads.

12 ounce can, date is smudged but I know it's from 2022. Thanks to Brutaltruth for giving me this can, pretty sure he bought the 6 pack when we were up there a couple months ago. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a somewhat hazy gold color with about an inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent. The brew smells like wheat and orange peel. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some grainy malt noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's smooth and easy enough to drink. It's good but doesn't have a lot of kick to it, probably would have been better fresher. Worth a try if you come across a can, but might want to wait until the fresher version comes out next summer!

Description: Pale yellow, straw color and somewhat cloudy. Initially pours with a fluffy white head and some lacing, but these quickly dissipate. Aroma is overwhelmingly yeasty and malty with subdued fruit and floral notes, but is generally a mild smell. Taste is sweeter and fuller than the aroma indicates with hints of banana and bubble gum that remind of a tripel or saison. Finish is bitter. Body is light with a crisp finish and high carbonation.
Overall: 3.75 (This beer is good but I would not likely drink it again) This is not my favorite style, so my impression is probably a little biased. The flavor and aroma in this were so subtle to me that it almost drank like a light lager. Might be nice on a hot day or at a cookout, but kind of unexciting.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a hazy yellowish with very thin head and no lace. The scent had subtle melon and citrus highlights and wheat base. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle citrus peel spice and grain. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation . Overall its a good beer.
