This Imperial Stout blends the rich, dark notes of the stout with the spicy complexity of Madras curry and coconut, while hints of cumin, cayenne, and kaffir lime add warmth, a slight kick, and a citrusy finish.

I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a six sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with thin tan ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had vanilla and mild spice notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip. There was a semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with coconut at the front and a curry spice at the finish. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
