440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 7.5%. Murky yellow colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of citric hops, notes of dust and humid basement. Medium sweet flavour of citrus and yellow stonefruits, also notes of pine needles, medium bitter finish.

6 weeks old. Can to pint glass.
Look: Bright yellow. Hazy and full. Long-lasting foamy head.
Smell: Fresh citrus fruits. Somewhere between lemon and orange.
Taste: Hoppy citrus notes all the way. Fresh orange juice with hints of lemon and grapefruit here and there. Smooth start with a slightly zesty and bitter finish.
Feel: Full and juicy. Low but steady carbonation.
Overall: Flavorful juicy IPA that doesn‘t need to shy away from the biggest names in business. Although not as aggressively marketed as other breweries, Blech Brut delivers some of the best hop-forward beers on the German market. Perfectly executed, this one serves as a supreme example of their overall high quality.

Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/citrus hops, with notes of passion fruit and grapefruit. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly dank and herbal hops, with tropical and citrus notes of passion fruit, papaya, coconut, grapefruit and lime peel, as well as some herbal weed and hints of earthy/woody accents. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some passion fruit, grapefruit, herbal weed and woody accents lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeeö with a medium body and carbonation.
This makes for a nice New England IPA with that unique, herbal, earthy, woody character that comes with Cashmere hops, strong tropical and lighter citrus notes, as well as well as some dankness, while finishing with a good bitterness. I quite like a NEIPA that has a bit more character and there is a great balance between the typical juicy, fruity and herbal, dank and bitter elements going on here. Haven't had anything from Blech.Brut in a while, but really rather enjoyed this one, even if the mouthfeel could be better.
