Yields a clear, light brown color with a huge, spongy eggshell colored head, which soon disappears after pouring.
Aromas lead with campfire smoke, boiled salt and toffee forward malts.
Has a light and refreshing, well carbonated mouthfeel with a well balanced light body to it.
Tastes of oaky, meaty campfire smoke, together with a good amount of salt, a noble dryness and rustic, whole grain bread forward malts. Develops a medicinal flavor then, arising from the oak, adding to the prominent smokiness in this while allowing a gentle sweetness to add in. Finishes with toasted grain husks, sunflower seeds and a maintaining herbal dryness, wrapped into honey, gentle toffee and light caramel, producing a swift, crisp and intense late peak.
A solid smoke beer with a profound oakiness to it which almost overreaches as far as the balance in this goes.
